60 Years Strong and Still Growing!

Shortly after CSLC had its beginning 60 years ago the fledgling congregation quickly saw the need for a building that would help them grow. Pastor Garry B. Anderson wrote of the need for another tool - our own building - to:

Reach more people for God’s Kingdom

Teach more efficiently for greater Christian understanding

Witness more effectively in this community.

Today we celebrate the hard work and dedication of this congregation over the years and the degree to which members and friends have stepped up in support of the ministry here.  However, your continued support is crucial.  As we come into the summer months when giving typically drops sharply we prayerfully ask your abundant generosity and faithful giving in support of our current work together.

A Hope And A Future

Our focus for our 2026 Giving Campaign is on the plans God has in store for Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. As we re-imagine what ministry looks like alongside our partner congregations we are making plans to for the future of CSLC and its ministries.

We need your generous support.  Click here to make your 2026 pledge online now, or turn in the downloadable Estimate of Giving form to the church office.

Lutheran Church: Embrace the Spirit of Service

“Remember that saying, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.” Or “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” As I was looking back at this past year, I thought of this... We continue to work at the same mission and do the same services that we have for years because people still get hungry, people still get cold, people still get homeless, people still get hurt, and people still get stranded by the weather. And so... we continue to feed people, collect clothing for people, cover people with quilts and blankets, support the organizations that care for people who are homeless and those who struggle because of severe weather conditions, famines, and warfare throughout the world, and so much more. For all the years I’ve been here, the people of Christ the Servant have tried to live the name of our church, using “Christ, the Servant” as an example... to be the servants of Christ the Servant.”
